At 7:00AM you will be picked up from your hotel and proceed to Samburu National Reserve located in the Northern Kenya. Have lunch on the way to arrive Samburu in time for an evening game viewing. Samburu is famous for its truly wild semi-arid landscape, and the large concentration of wild animals and bird-life. Together with the adjoining Shaba and Buffalo Springs national reserves, Samburu is popular for hosting the rare Northern-Kenya animal species (Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich) which are not found in the other popular parks and reserves in Kenya. It is also home to all the African big cats (lion, cheetah and leopard), alongside other big game including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, impala, water-buck and many others. Samburu is also a renowned bird watching haven, with hundreds of bird species resident here. These include kingfisher, bee-eaters, tawny eagle, guinea-fowll, yellow throated spur-fowl, lilac-breasted roller, red-billed horn bill, secretary bird, Verreaux’s eagle, superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.The unique culture of The Samburu tribe who live in the region is the icing to cake for the amazing Samburu National Reserve. You will have an early breakfast check out, game enroute and drive to Aberdare National park arriving in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. After lunch you are transferred to the park by the lodge vehicle. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards sported hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos and many more. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest Hogs, bongos and many types of big cats. You can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the river and camping in the moorlands. You will have an early breakfast check out and depart and drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will go to hell’s gate for biking safari. if you are too tired you will be driven in the park with a car. Early morning breakfast check out as you proceed to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Around 4.00 depart your camp and drive to the park for a 2 hours game viewing till 6.00pm, please make sure you get to capture the sunset in the park if the clouds are clear. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the the wonder of the world. Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
